TS1 Gearing

TS1 225 30mm phbh with power jet and franspeed road pipe. Using SX200 with 15-46 overall ratio 4.81 am chassing power especialy in 4th! Cant reach powerband in headwind or slight hill in 4th!

I have a spare Italian LI150 gearbox along with 16 and 47 tooth sprockets this would give an overal ratio of 4.99 Question is, will I get the benefit from this or do I need to be looking at 5.1ish or do I just neet to lose a couple of stone!

could be a jetting/carb problem....might be worth getting it Dyno'd

Has it always been like that?
I'd suspect there's something wrong with it if it wont pull 4.8.

Do you have many stones to lose?? That'd be your cheapest tuning option.

Dyno'd and when it reaches its powerband pulls well! just want it to pull better in 4th I sometimes ride two up and could just do with that extra bit of grunt!

Using LI side case so having to use LI clutch bell with rod to align it. ( not needed with GP side case with brass plunger) so cant go to GP 200 gearing with this set up..

li 150 box with 46/16 works for me
