Hi Does anybody know of a sender that will fit in a standard lammy tank?
Seen one on ebay but unsure if there is enough clearance inside for the float arm to move up and down. and enough room on the top to cut the hole. guessing clearance will be better in long range type
Also be good if it would work with vapour speedo.
Thanks Dave

Ive fitted one I got it from merlin motorsport , it's a smiths one sender and gauge , you just trim the sender arm down to fit , you need a 12v dc supply but I used a battery type reg and wired the dc output that would have gone to the battery to the gauge . Works a treat was about 50 squid all in.

The kit i have seen is this one

Mark the DNA sender looks ideal as no bulky float to get caught up on tank sides
Sorry but no idea of the ohmn range needed for the vapour speedo (havent got the vapour yet!) it is the one that MB sell.

thats the same as the one i fitted to my dac (alloy tank) and positioned the float wrong , not a big problem to put right when tank is out but a busterd when tank is in.
make sure the sender is the same ohms rating as your vapour, does your vapour have a fuel gauge on it?

had a great day , worked out how to get the gilera sender working and it also has a low fuel light leaving about 20 miles in tank on a std engine,
