I saw the listing via the Ebay boxes at the bottom of screen on this forum and watched the last 7 mins before it finished. It was on at £107 then and watched it keep going, a final £226.00.

Can anyone make out from the 2 pics listed whether it's original or not? If it is that's still a good price isn't it? I'd read somewhere (LCGB?) they can fetch £500+

Seller's ad' of this and another seat - GP coffin seat are pretty nondescript...maybe they just didn't know!

They'd have probably got more with a better title.

Enlarge the photo...the "waffle" sides are there.

It caught my eye when it said 7 mins to go and was at £107.00, so I opened Ebay and watched as it crept upto £226.00. I was expecting more in the final few seconds, but at that price I thought it must have been original as why pay that for a repro' when like you say new repro' can be had for less.

There was a thread on LCGB with an original fetching £500.00

Either that or it's not what it looks like, then when the buyer says "Oi this aint an original electronic seat" the buyer says " I never said it was" :o

It wasn't an original seat. It was one made by scootopia. Sold above what it's worth.
