No, not at all, I was only questioning the theory that because a clutch works well in one 40bhp motor that it goes in hand that it will also work just the same, and just as well, in another 40bhp motor even though it may have different torque, number of gears, and indeed a completely different motor with a totally different delivery of power, whether it's a Lambretta, Suzuki, Kawasaki etc. etc.Chris CSPE wrote: you can't help but think that one is more in question then the other.
I love these modern bike clutches, I have one of Richards Granturismo 7 plate clutches in my TS1, it replaced my Foxhat, mainly because it has a featherlight action on the lever, and it's great and I'm sure this one is too, I'd certainly entertain it over any clutch that uses Lambretta plates and even SSC and LTH.
I never meant to question the quality of this clutch and apologise if it seemed that way.
