Probably. Don't know the name but if you mean the tie bar, a few people have done the same it seems. Frank's disc does the same too looking at the photos just above.

I was thinking the same thing .... i had mine lazer cut with bearings and oil rings to prevent dirt getting in the bearings. I had 20 cut just need to get them polished and i'll sell the rest

Did this back in september... so its not new it just an upgrad of a poorly thought out design.

Better to keep quiet and be thought of as a D!ck Head, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Hear what your saying mate but i did these for me and a few others. I'm no way trying to enter the lambretta upgrades market.

I'm sure scootrs will sort the caliper carrier out too ;) ....

As mentioned above, already done in the photo shown :D

These are incremental changes though, we don't want anyone to spend lot of money thinking it will make much difference over the current version. It's not going to stop any better.

Well, done diddley done!, all nicely fitted up, spin 'round the block and all sweet!

Still needs some tinkering, might rework the tie bar..

Big ups to those who helped out, namely Mark

I'm sure you've checked but does the shocker clear the axle dome nut under full compression. Looks awfully close looking at the pics.
Nice to see some quality workmanship though.

Lovely work Frank. I guess that if you have been able to take it for a test ride, that means you haven't been flooded.
