this is not an early one ,the airscoop fastening lugs on the early ones were big roundy shapes and the material was stitch/ribbed about 40 mm apart and smooth,

That looks very new to me. The early Snetts also had silver pop studs along the sides on the bottom edge.

I bought a new one back in 1970 and that's how I remember them, definately no Waffle.

Joe mentions silver press studs along the bottom, I can't really rember that detail, they could have been small rivit heads :?

I've a picture of my Li 150 with Snetterton in 1971, before getting it on the road in the August. Seat has smooth blue panels accross the seat, each app 40mm wide, white piping and 4 alloy rivet type heads near the lower edge.

exactly, I won it, thinking it looked quite a lot like the beedspeed ones, but still thought worth a punt, somebody will want one someday, and I'll get my money back on it.
I left positive feedback, but mentioned that I didn't think it was that old.
And he sent me three indignant, sweary messages....
