I think thats pretty ok..
Some pistons have a chamfer and with this you can get them in with just fingers.. I always check they are fully home tho with a small screwdriver.
I dont use circlips with the 'tail' on tho.. they can wear and snap off...

....that link reads ok but misses out the most important point!!.....hearing a click when the circlip goes in is not sufficient proof that it`s well in the groove as it could be up against a not properly or pushed in far enough gudgeon pin....."old school" ways are when the circlip is inserted in the groove turn it around with the pliers still in the wings if it doesn`t turn freely it is not in properly, but if it turns smoothly with no force then it`s ok.....

put circlips with the gap either at the top , or bottom of the piston, this prevents it from being compressed by the up and down force . a little drop of locktite wont go a miss either.

Tbh if its in then its in.. I tend to do mine similar but rotated say 30 degrees ccw so the gap is covered but not too much to hinder removal. I've never loctited circlips.. i would imagine unless a special loctite is used the heat would break the standard stuff down anyway.

No.. the opposite mister. The ones with 'the inside bent' are bad.... very bad.. dont use em unless you intend stripping and replacing them often.
The circlips are fairly easy to fit.. some pistons like wiseco have a chamfer.. you can fit them with your fingers.
Others well.. just use a fine point screwdriver to flick them in.. but always make sure they are 'home'

Actually..this piston has a decent chamfer to enable easy fitting.
