Has anyone got any advice ref engine mounts ive just built a new 200 engine only mildly tuned i used genuine sil engine mounts fitted in the correct position as per stickys book but after just 295mls the o/s one has completely collapsed & the rubber has broken away from the metal
i was having the same problem and bought an extra long mount and bolt from andy francis
the problem, i now realise, was caused by worn engine mount cones, it might be worth replacing these first and then buying mounts from a reliable source like scooter restorations
must say though handling is great with the extended mount

I did the same and bought new cones as well at the same time
