A little high strength stud lock helps to keep them in place with the help of a little epoxy resin over the head of the screw onto the back plate.
I prefer the self tapper to the earlier threaded bolt.
BGM Stator Failures
After much piddling about with carb jettings it turns out the that problem was with my Stator... A BGM Stator.... Been in use since Kelso 2010.... till last weekend.. and only done around 400 miles....
I have fitted my 'Self repaired' Indian stator back on... and all is fine...!
I will contact the dealership that supplied it to see if they will send me another OR.....
