Open to a bit of debate tyres are like oil but let's hear your experiences.

Time for some new tyres on the Lince, I've had SIP Performers on (made by Vee Rubber I believe) which I can't say I've been wholly impressed with.

I have ScootSmarts on the GP which I quite like but not put a lot of miles on them yet.

I'm thinking of something with a bit more 'tread' on like the Michelin City Grip or the Vee Rubber VRM351 or Manhattan. Anyone tried any of these?

Other options?

Michelin S1's are awful. Never known a tyre like it for tracking every line in the road. Avoid them like the plague. About the only thing you can say for them is that they last well.

I find this with the performers hence changing them.

Another vote for the SccotSmarts. Have them on my S3, only done 5 or 600 miles on them, but had no issues, and will definitely use again.

I've had some MC20 Monsums on my coop. SIP seems to be marketing them as rain tyres now. They weren't when I got them.
They are excellent in the wet. If I remember right.. they're good in the dry, but do wear quickly. My rear one is about half worn out inside 800km.
