Going to upgrade my top end, and was wondering is it as simple that if I put in a 60mm crank on a Ts1, I need to add a 2mm base packer? Thanks in advance.

If staying with the standard rod length on the 60 crank it would be a 1mm base packer. The crank would go 1mm further up the bore and 1mm further down. You wouldneed to recheck squish etc to determine exactly whats size is required. Could be just a 1mm packer or the packer and a gasket etc etc.

If you dont change the rod length you may have the piston skirt hit the casing, and you need to trim it. Using a 110mm rod with your 60mm crank gives you lots more flexibility with tuning etc
