Rear hub

Hi all, my original hub from the 69gp has given up the ghost, ordered up a uni(ray speed) hub, but someone said there not great

I`ve found them to be fine on several bikes.

They work fine - Less bother than some others I have.

Cheers for the reply’s lads, gave up after 650 mile round trip from brum to Normandy, done all the landings, trip of lifetime

Uni are fine, it's Ramp hubs that you should avoid

Cheers boys, fitted tonight, works great but got a scraping noise, casting I think, will have a play tomorrow 👍

What was the scraping? Brake shoes I guess? be interested to see if you sorted it. UNI hubs are generally ok. Old Serveta hubs are really good if you can get one. None of them are perfectly round and the whole drum break set up quite agricultural really, but that's why we love Lambrettas isn't it?
