Don't think you can alter anything when it's posted. Would make sense to be able to put sold or delete post like on lcgb forum

The edit function has been severely cut back since the new UI came in and the site was taken over by Mortons

Nope, it's the same as it was before. Maybe you only noticed it after they took ownership and therefore assumed as such?
