Yes. Porting any 2 stroke will increase the power. Two strokes are unique in that they can produce an astonishing amount of power for their size, but this requires careful design of the expansion exhaust. The exhaust reflects a pressure wave that holds the air fuel mixture in the cylinder so more mixture can be forced in resulting in more power. A Grand Prix racing two stroke produced 400hp per litre, a 250cc producing close to 100hp.
