Hi Peeps

Where is the place to get a series 2 kickstart shaft any recommendations?

Thanks for any help.

Just so it's clear not the kickstart pedal, it's the shaft that goes through the side casing.

Camb Lamb are good, so are pretty much any of the decent UK traders. One of my personal favs is Saxon Scooters up north, great service.

otherwise AF, beedspeed, taffspeed, et al.

My only advice would be don't buy cheap Indian fare off eBay. I know because i keep doing it :0)

is it a standard engine, if not you might consider a high quality shaft like a casa shaft, much stronger than an indian shaft and can handle a higher compession engine, your choice of front sprocket and gearbox is a factor as well.

Thanks guys

Hi Holty
It's a Bob Monkhouse 230 cast iron so a stronger one would be the order of the day mate.

I'll take a look at the Casa ones

Thanks for the heads up.
