No idea when or where, but it looks like a parade is taking place. The Vespa on the trailer and the one towing both have headlights and handlebars reminiscent of the early years.

Vespa in the States - also the early years. If the cover photo had not been airbrushed or retouched (pre Photoshop era) that is an unusual headlight placement. Unfortunately the cover shows only the month.

The reason it looks unusual is because it's not a vespa at all it's a Lambretta MK3 LD.

Thats one big Vespa.............I'd hate to meet the rider of that on a dark night.I agree with Grumpy,the second picture is of a Lambretta LD.
