Hello Mr Frankland

Thank you for your email of the 2 March 2017 14:36

With regard to your enquiry about dating evidence:

Before providing dating evidence you must be satisfied that the vehicle exists, is a complete

entity and that it carries the relevant chassis/frame and engine numbers. If you are unable to

arrange an inspection of the vehicle, in order to satisfy yourself that the vehicle is what it is

claiming to be, you must request photographs of the vehicle and photographs or rubbings of

all identifying features.

Issuing dating certificates

Any dating evidence you provide of the year of manufacture must take the form of a letter or

dating certificate and must be accompanied by a note of the source material that was used

to determine the date together with an explanation of how you were able to link this vehicle to

the source material (i.e. whether by inspection or photographs and rubbings).

I trust the above information will be of help.

thanks for the insight but wasn't me asking , im aware of this anomoly tho, the whole Vehicles of historic interest issue is a right potmess now even DVLA staff well the tele ops dont know anything both myself and Iggy from SULK have been told we'll get an answer for you in 10 days but then you hear nothing.

but back to the thrust of the issue so how do we see the issue being resolved with regard to BLOA/C and LCGB. ive seen offensive comments about LCGB on the BLOA/C page before it was closed to public view so the longer it drags on the comments are sure to continue . which means its going to get a whole lot Nastier before the end. i might have been interested in joining but not under the current atmosphere.

There's no bad atmosphere within BLOA ranks and nothing being said about any of this really. Just sit back and enjoy the ride, we are. There is almost 3000 members on the facebook page so we must doing something right. Of course we have snipers within the 3000 but we have our sights on them just in case. (That's a frontline trooper's sense of humor) Tata for now. :)

Who exactly are the "BLOA ranks" (more military lingo) who are saying nothing about it - give this whole thing revolves around BLOA is LCGB ???
And what does 3000 (very exact number ?) Facebook page members actually mean...........

Gaz- REMF is a word used throughout the military, first used with the yanks but now commonly used with the Brits since the 1970's. Get with the plan.
I can use what ever term I like, who do you think you are to say otherwise? Nobody in BLOA gives a damm about the LCGB why should we? The 3000 or so is what we have in the BLOA Facebook page. I cant make it any clearer than that. There is only a handful out there who keep moaning about it, the rest of us couldn't give a flying f@@k what you or the others think and nothing is going to change no matter how loud you cry.

Bolzenanker- one for you mate - Muppet, or even cling-on, not sure which best suits you as you've done sod all towards the scootering community apart from moan like an old women. Go back in your cave and make use of your time or back to sleep as you keep stating you do. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bonjour.

Personal insults and name calling, classy, it's often said when people resort to this it is because they know they have already lost the argument :?:

Or you know that what ever is said they don't get it, regardless of how simple you put it over.I think it's more of this than anything else.
