I use a graduated jug
Put about 2/3 of what I think I need in, then fuel and finish with the rest of the oil.
That way I always have some oil in and it’s mixed well.
If I overfill, drive gently for a few miles then top up
Or
Buy it in a fuel can then mix.

I usually keep some in a can in the garage. But if I'm out it's an LML measuring jug at 3%. If I'm using a regular OMG fuel tap which is fast flow I know I can put exactly five litres of fuel in, so that makes it easy to put your oil in first, knowing how much you need. But with a Scootopia tap it's different. I never know how much I've got left.

Got a Casa 185 and get sometimes just over and sometimes just under 100 mpg. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14&start=60 second down from 31/2 years ago.

Hmmm. That looks like a clean solution. I'm guessing two-stroke oil doesn't come anymore in bottle with a graduated see-thru strip?

Yes it does, and when caught short and resorted to buying oil at a garage then the graduated see-thru strip helps you put 'roughly' the right amount of oil in.

Personally I never buy 1l bottles of oil, other than in the above situation. I buy in multiples of 5l, so I decant into 'single shot' bottles of 150ml and 240ml. You can fit far more oil in your toolbox with these than cumbersome 1l oil bottles, especially when you have tools in there
