I was looking at getting a pair of Chronosoft goggles to go with an open face Bell 500 helmet. Anyone got a set of these. Will they sit ok on face with strap over the outside of helmet, not letting wind in. Any views on these ? Cheers

Get a full face, makes for a more enjoyable ride, no flapping cheeks and bugs inside your helmet to distract you. Plus god forbid you have an off you’ll be pleased you did.

Tsk.. maybe he's not riding a bike. Maybe he's merely being fired from a cannon.

I'd be more concerned about cape flapping, than cheeks :)

I thought an open face would go better with my boxing boots and Hawaiian grass skirt to finish the look. I,ve got a decent flight jacket for back and shoulder protection. :o :D

Does anyone have any experience of using these for bog snorkelling? Look just the ticket. Splendid.

I’ve not had any experience but this might help....”Mechanical risk- Medium energy impact - B
Medium energy impact, resists a 6 mm, 0.86 g ball at 120 m/s”

I cannot comment on the goggles. Never tried them.
But the photo below shows why i wear a full faced helmet.
Not my helmet by the way.
I always advise people to wear full faced helmets.
But each to their own.Image
