Master Cylinder

Looking at options for a master cylinder, am I right in thinking that most of those for 7/8" bars (22mm) will be 32mm between the centres on the mounting?

Anyone identify any good / neat alternatives to the huge bulky ones that come with most hydraulic conversions?

Yes, nice and they do one for Lince but I'm on a budget and trying to avoid LAT...

It’s AJP, not AJS. Mine was second hand 7 years ago and still going strong. Mine is mated to an MB housing on a GP though.

Make sure you get the 100cc version, not the 50cc if you go down this route. They are still fairly plentiful on ebay although there aren’t as many as a few years back. This makes me think I should get a back up too.

Sorry. Mine is 35mm give or take a centremetre although, as with everything, you could probably fettle it to fit.

Those brackets are around £20 and generally don't fit very well without fettling, though once fettled they work fine and are solid. You can fit most 22mm type motorbike master cylinders on them to save money but they tend to be just as bulky.

The AJP type definitely has a slightly small reservoir but all the ones I could see on Ebay were more expensive than the Nissin type ones.
