Has anyone priced one up in bit form? I'd imagine it's the same as the full engine and that Casa build it for free.

My post wasn't intended to knock the engine, it's obviously a leap forward in technology. I've yet to own a machine, 2 or 4 wheels that I haven't red-lined at some stage but I wouldn't want to do close to 100 on 10" rims except on a track. When you change into 4th gear at 70 and the front lifts then that's what I'd consider more power than the chassis can cope with.

Now ‘heavily discounted’ to £2220. This is for the casing, top end and crank. Unsure if this is good value or not. I assume regular other good quality parts will fit?

you could get a full gt casing and 240 kit for that including his new maghousing

that's not the same engine the one they've discounted is the ss250 not the ssr265
