I agree, great news. The Stickys manual was a godsend in my house for helping decode the world of lambretta.

Agreed both volumes so far have been an absolute godsend. For version 3 I'd like to see coverage of:
the various 'performance' clutch options,
Anti Dive setup,
5speed gearboxes maybe?
DC supply options,
Lighting upgrades
I'm sure there are more

If it is going to be out in the Spring, I am pretty certain there must already be a plan as to what new stuff is going to be covered.
Personally, I’d love to see it cover the Vega and J Range, like the old Workshop Manual does. But, that would turn it into something approaching a 1973 Telephone Book !

I'm hoping for a more "stand alone" book, featuring upgrades and alterations. Books one and two do a good enough job for a basic strip down and rebuild.

Yes, I'm looking forward to the new book too. The other two have been invaluable.
He has also left SULK.

Agree, a basic engine rebuild never alters a great deal. As mentioned, 5 speed boxes, clutch upgrades, out of box tuning upgrades, etc
