This type of Escort shock has a bad reputation for snapping at the top.https://www.google.co.uk/search?dcr=0&b ... YL09x3dseM:purple_pill67 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2017 3:08 pm Had 2 Escort shocks snap on me before.

I've had an Escort on my series 3 for 10 years, but its the old type with this top part.https://www.google.co.uk/search?dcr=0&b ... SGD6glEW8M:
Are there any adjustable rear shocks that you can just click adjust to firm, medium, hard?
I’m not keen on the idea of carrying round an adjustable tool etc to change the settings

i bought a Escorts Damper on the glowing recomendations by some on here, found it about as much use as a chocolate fire guard but i am a slim 16 stone

win or lose have a booze
So I bought a Carbone Sport rear shock with 3 settings. The price was very good but the 3 settings is a lie. Anyway, it’s improved the handling on the front but I’ve also ordered some front shocks.
I would like to think Scootering will do some articles on suspension. It’s so important for many reasons but it gets neglected IMO.

Protec for me. Although ive just fitted an R1 one for someone, all i can say is what a bloody awful idea, the bushes are s**t, you cant tighten the nuts up properly if you do it pushes the bushes through and the spring hits the mudguard.
