HOW LONG DOES MIXED FUEL LAST

I have a jerry can nearly full of 2stroke fuel it has been standing for 10 months, can i use it in my scooter or best to get some fresh fuel, i don't want to mess up the mugello 186 ?

Pour it out,its not worth the risk for the sake of £25 to £30 of fuel.

Personally, I'd put a couple of litres in each of my next couple of fill ups and I wouldn't give it a second thought.

When I'm using the scooter frequently I do what Storkfoot does, although I only use about 0.5 litre per tank of fresh fuel. If I'm not then I just use it as a parts cleaner.

My chainsaws and other 2t powered tools start to complain once the mix is more than a couple of months old.
The jets start to clog - "fortunately" that means generally bad starting and lack of power on a Stihl, not seizing.

Will treat the hayter to some upper cylinder lube.
