Sprint rack extension?

I bought a Crome sprint rack with an extra wide removeable Crome crack for luggage many years ago. It's one of the best things I've bought for my Lambretta.......no beer holders though ...

My latest plan is to buy a second hand sprint rack and permanently attach/weld one of those steel ammo boxes to it so all you tools, spares etc go in the box bag and tent etc on top.

Gary Simpson used to make a removable sprint rack extension, if you can find him he may be able to help - I'd start with Jason Frost ....
