Headset repair

I have picked up an Italian matching top and bottom GP headset, but the bottom has a 10-12mm hole drilled in for hydraulic cable, is this repairable? and have the hole welded up. Thanks

Any decent TIG welder can fill that for you!

yes i know someone who can repair it, he is called tony and runs a vapour blasting company, his welding is the best ive seen with a tig, the place is called aj s vapour blasting chamberlain busines park hull, they do motorcycle repairs but very scooter friendly, a very nice guy, its not me by the way, he is just a few miles from me, i recomend him as he is so good.

You can get good results using liquid metal. I used it to repair an early Indian headset last year.

Tony at AJ's is currently doing two of mine and a rear light unit.
