Wouldn't surprise me in the least. A friend of mine once visited the MecEur factory in Italy and they were repacking Indian parts.storkfoot wrote:mr mugello wrote:Sourced from Far East. Repacked, boxed in Italy.

FYI, 'Ricambio' isn't a brand, it's just Italian for 'spare parts'.

I was looking at some today. Bit of a rough edge around the cut out for the kickstart. So they may need dressing slightly.

The quality of the Viet panels these days is 100 times better than they were 5 years ago. As others have said the bare metal ones are the ones to go for, especially if your going the chrome route. They're mostly pressed these days as opposed to hand beaten converted GP panels from a few years back. Obviously they still need prepping prior to paint or chrome.
I've got a few sets in stock, PM me for a price if interested.

Thanks but a bit early to buy yet. Having the engine and frame defurb ed at the moment. Will be looking to buy p Nelson in a month or so, just trying to work out WhT are the best quality panels to buy. If I get them chromed they will need to be good quality.corrado wrote:The quality of the Viet panels these days is 100 times better than they were 5 years ago. That's not going anywhere...
So are the £200 ones at allstyles any different to the £130-£140 ones everywhere else.

I'd say they were sourced from the same place as Buzz get theirs from. They are on the Buzz website at £165. Whether they are from the same supplier or not £165 verses £220 I know where my money would be going on almost identical products.chippy wrote:So are the £200 ones at allstyles any different to the £130-£140 ones everywhere else.
