Yes, I have. No complaints with the quality of their work.
It's probably more economic to buy a remade. Though I understand you may prefer to keep the original.

To be honest I'd agree with that, generally speaking. Especially with companies such as Scootopia doing such faithful reproductions of a lot of parts. It's often just not worth it.

There will, however, always be parts that need chroming. You won't get better than an original kickstart.

I see from their website they sell a lot of Lambretta parts. Do they rechrome your original part or exchange with like for like. Never used a plater before, but remember a company in the scooter scene years ago would do this, petrol tanks, forks, etc. They want £26 Inc vat and postage so seems not too bad price. Scootopia want £15 for remade chrome ring, just not sure if it is going to be an exact fit and size to my original. Had issues with some of their parts, quality varies. Others saying had issues with £45 casa ones flaking. So rechrome looks best bet I think. Bit of a pig to remove if not right.Doom Patrol wrote:Yes, I have.
