Frame and engine number style / font and spacing all look correct , the photo of the frame number makes it look raised rather than stamped but i think its just down to the light/photo.

That's exactly what I was getting at. The font definitely looks raised !!!

trick of the light but you would need to see the whole area in natural light.

I don't think it's raised. But it still doesn't look at all right to me. Look at the two different style 5's for a start.

thats correct the 5 on the sx150 and the 5 on the rest of the numbers are different , ive just check a li125 and tv175 and they are also different on both frame and engine stampings.
