I walked into town the other night. I live in York.
I noticed a Lambretta clothes shop had opened. I dont know when as i rarely visit the city centre.
I own a few lambretta clothes items but tend to avoid buying them now as they now seem chavvy to me.
What im annoyed about is the christmas logo......
a father christmas on a Vespa with a Lambretta logo on the side panel
Would you not think someone in the marketing department could at least use the correct scooter to advertise their products

They've done it loads of times, at the end of the day they are just a clothes/accessories company, no different to any other - they are not remotely interested in lambretta scooters other than a tool to sell, 90% of people's who buy their 100% sh@te aren't worried about what scooter it is - you could stick any make on their gear and it won't increase or decrease their sales , it's an image of a "scooter"........i find it amusing!

They did the same with Lambretta aftershave a few years ago. It had a picture of a Vespa on the box and on the bottle.

Very annoying alright...A discount clothing outfit in my town got in a batch of t-shirts with the same mistake. It's up there with the old "are ya still riding a moped?" thing. "Will you ever progress onto a real bike?" When I bump into people I haven't seen in a long time and they talk like this it almost has me dusting off the boating blazer and getting stuck in! In my town any vespa or lambretta would be seen as a moped by alot of people...still!
What town is that
