To be honest I haven't a clue what you are on about.
You post on a thread about Bridlington Custom Show and Trade Fair 2016, organised by the LCGB, and your input is about what you've heard 2nd hand about LCGB events because clearly you haven't been to Brid Show recently, nor an LCGB members event, and you state your membership lapsed in 1999.

Well sorry if your comments weren't taken as constructive, or even funny.

In the same time that you haven't been a member of the LCGB, I haven't collected stamps, gone fishing or played golf (all of which I think I still did back in 1999). I probably haven't read a stamp, fishing or golfing magazine for over 10 years.

I wouldn't dream of making a comment about either of these things now, as I didn't have an up to date knowledge of any of them.

Get my drift...????

O' the joys of social media, people can sit at home and make ill-judged uniformed comments that add no value what so ever about anything they want, and then wonder why those directly involved in the organising what has been considered one of the best Bridlington Show for years, respond when those comments are neither positive or even remotely constructive.

Anyway, back on thread, hope all those that did support the show enjoyed seeing in the flesh some scooters never before brought to the UK including the Innocenti Streamliner, and the factory Model C Racer? Also a return to public viewing of Mike Karslake's combo, alongside some of the best Custom and Ridden Show scooters from throughout the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

The pay and conditions of the average UK worker are certainly heading in that direction so you could be right.

It's funny how we see and read things differently, I thought Chris's comment was a simple question, not even his opinion, not aimed at anyone or any particular event A simple answer was required..........the popularity of Brid speaks for itself...

Usually I quite like having a bit of a moan, at least that's what the wife says, I went to Bridlington on Saturday with the beast and was lucky enough to win a prize, but I must say it was a cracking day , lots of people and quite a lot of scooters, a great atmosphere and great weather ,I even commented on how busy it was, I know the original post was about the cost of the parts, if they aren't cheap enough you can always get them from your usual supplier instead, if you've had a breakdown and you need a part to get you home, it's a very valuable source of spares, and of course the people selling the parts do need to make some profit to cover costs, I will be back next year for sure, a great event.

Holty.

That's not very nice, referring to your wife as "the beast"

Chris, fear not not, Toot loves making mountains out of mole hills. He is very good at it, believe me ;)
He stated above about how people use social media to comment on stuff they know little about in his opinion yet he has a habit himself of using social media to make up all sorts of bullshit about people and then cries when his comments and motives are questioned.
Just ignore him, he is irrelevant.
