Just about to pick up a Spanish Imported MK1 T5 ( new scoot excitement :D ) but the bugger has a KPH speedo and it seems MPH speedo's are a bit scarce , would it pass a UK MOT or does it need to at least have both KPH and MPH showing? Paul

You don't even need a speedo for an MOT.
Did you have to do that?

Whenever speedos and MOT questions appear it always reminds me of the row I had a test centre in Belfast some time ago where the idiot wanted to fail the GP because it didn't have KPH with the MPH on the speedo.

After arguing with him he walked off. When he came back he threw the test paper at me. Of course the GP passed.

A complete tosser. I never went back there.
