In April 2018 I will have been scootering for 50 years and will call it a day.

At that time I will be selling all of my scootering bits and bobs which will comprise a TV175 S3 (1962), a spare engine; numerous top ends; carbs; electricals; flywheels; gear boxes; internals; some body parts; booklets; original parts lists; original WSM's; tools etc etc etc.

It will not be split.

Whats it worth?- the whole lot.

I bet you dont.I have been scootering for 50 years already and I have no intention of stopping. When April 2018 comes around,if you can still get on a scooter and ride it theres no way you'll stop.

Suppose it'll fall somewhere between what you value it at and what some else is willing to pay. Might be a few quid but I'd not be hoping for too much of a nestegg. Selling as a joblot will knock off a fair bit for a start and if you just want rid then your call.

What sort of age is the target buyer likely to be? If they're also 50+, I'd expect them to already have a suitable bike, and garage full of tat.
Anyone under 40.. good luck.

Why would you come up with such an arbitrary number like 50?

Assuming that you aren't desperate for the cash, surely you only need ask yourself one thing. "Do I still get enjoyment from my scooters?" If the answer is "yes" then keep them. If the answer is "no", don't.

To stop doing something you enjoy for no other reason than a date on a calendar is quite frankly a bit weird.

Lot of replies but no answer to the question...................

I would suggest it will sell at a minimum of £5000.
