See they have banned vespa's in Milan for a few days to reduce pollution!!

Strange they didn't include lami's, guess they are all in garages being repaired!!

Whatever you ride, or push, have a great Xmas and New Year :D

Isn't it true to say that generally speaking the Italians are more Vespa than they are Lambretta? I think this country was the only country that preferred the Lambretta.

I go to Italy 2-3 times a year for work and must admit its been a few years since I've actually seen a lammy on the road there. Milan is always full of traffic so don't blame them for banning them for a few days, plenty of good old px's there cheap as well.

Don't know why people think Italy will be full of a vehicle that hasn't been built there since 1971. Do foreigners think our streets are full of Morris Minors?

I saw a Lambretta in Lecco (end of Lake Como) a month or so ago. First time in a very long time.
Lots and lots of Vespas, both new and old in Menton.

The crazy thing about all of this is that i believe its generally a percentage thing....yes, a 125 two stroke is generally inefficient compared to a 125 modern four stroke but a 125 two stroke still wont emit as much nasties as say most 1900cc cars.
I could be wrong but i believe this is correct?

Be interesting to see what the Italians do in June of 2017 , when thousands of lambrettas descend on
Monza for the euro rally.......Lots of folks intending to ride their machines back to their place
of birth . 8-) . Gonna be a cracker !! G.
