I have a snap-on set that includes taps but I got them in the 70's so they might not do them anymore.
whats the benefit over a standard Die Nut ?

The benefit is that these dies are split and spring loaded , so that you can open them out over a damaged thread , then wind the die back off so it repairs the thread as it turns off . Loads of standard dies on offer all over the place, but cant seem to find the spring loaded ones apart from USA .YAMLAM wrote:whats the benefit over a standard Die Nut ?
