lcgb dating certificate

hi folks, does anyone know if a lcgb dating certificate has to be in your own name to register a lammy ?

i restored a s3 last year ...the lcgb datig certificate was in my name.........as i had then sold the scooter ,i registered it with the buyers details without a problem
p.s the nova no was done previous to this in my name

Yes mate, DLVA are likely to refuse it if all the paperwork is not in the same name.

Details of how to get it changed into your name are on the main LCGB website.

Yes I can confirm what Toot has said. DVLA have changed quite a lot of things lately and must be in the name of the person registering the vehicle. Also the certificates now only last for 12 months from date of issue,

thanks for all your replies, ive been in touch with lcgb and they charge 5 pounds to change the certificate to my name and the updated version, its in the post, hoping i will get the new one soon. :D

got my certificate back today, what a great service, obviously run by some very good people, who care, many thanks to them.

So my feb 2011 certificate isnt valid anymore :(
