Hi all, on an impulse I bought an Indian GP off eBay last year with zero paperwork. It was cheap as chips and local to me, so I got it. Anyway, it's now almost ready to be registered, but I'm wondering if I've bitten off more than I can chew with it being minus any paperwork. Could someone point me in the right direction as to how I go about registration for it? Thanks in advance Pete.

Its not so difficult, you just need to be methodical.

Your first hurdle is getting a nova certificate if its an import. I used a guy on ebay who charged me £30 and i had my certificate within 30 minutes.

Next step is to mot the scooter, then complete the dreaded dvla form, i think its a v55.

If you send me your email i can send you an example of how to fill it in.

I sent my form in with photos of the frame and engine number as well as fee and mot certificate.

You dont need insurance to register but you'll have to SORN the scooter straight away if you dont.
