I can't remember taking them but would like to know what they are and why it was done
TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.

I don't know his name but I spoke to him at Mersey last year or the year before. It is indeed a twin leading she drum brake adapted from a British bike, possibly Bonneville or Norton.

It was a one-off, done by Shaun Burns, for Mike Gervin's 60's S-Type.

It works extremely well, but is naturally heavier that any standard looking front disk brake.

Does it affect the handling much, the extra weight?

Mike says it is heavier, but feels more 'sure' into corners.

Just order a steering damper stabiliser for him, he's going to fit it and see how the bike feels.

did he not do one for a series 2 as well? sure I remember shaun having one on a S2?
