I understand midlands scooter center is doing a typhon engined scomadi. What are the
the engines like, are they that much better than whats already in there?

They will be 2T and not 4T the scomadi tl 4T has 11hp a 2T with 172 kit can easily be 22 hp and remain reliable there are further tuning optins up to about 35hp but at what cost ?
The typhoon variant wont be in the £2400 price bracket though

I'm led to believe it's 4k for the typhoon which is based on the 50 scomadi bike. I wonder if MSC is buying just the frame and putting the typhoon in or buying the whole bike and replacing the engine? I suppose they will have to reg them as 175,s?

are you talking about the old aircooled 2 stroke typhoon or the new 4 stroke engine?

the old airccoled is similar to the watercooled gilera runner engines,125cc and 180cc

Not sure which one there using. I'm guessing it's the 4 as that would be the newest version but I'm only guessing.

Lozmondos Lamphoon. I always thought the Typhoon engine conversion was the best to use. No cooling system to plumb in and 10ins wheels.

It's the 2 stroke engine Sef and they sell a super tuned one and it's put into a 50cc frame so it's down to u to reg as anything else I've been told the 172 kitted one pulls 80 mph as for the super tuned one I don't no. But I'm awaiting a email with the specs and prices for it
