You won't get a refund, they will give you a credit note, so check your SIP account.

Cant wait to find out how long it takes for SIP to sort out my account. I am returning a damaged shock and UPS are collecting it tomorrow (Thursday)

UPS are an absolute joke. Still not got the parcel and it's been to 22 places already according to their tracking. SIP are just passing the buck. First and last order from them for me.

I have placed many orders with sip and would have no problem ordering again. Their delivery charge of €5 no matter what size of packet is a great incentive and paying with Paypal offers another layer of protection on top of your rights under distance selling regulations http://whatconsumer.co.uk/mail-order-go ... e-selling/ If you paid by card there should be more ways of getting your cash back so at least you wont be out of pocket.

you cant knock the range of stuff they do, the catalogue is vespa porn personified. ive had loadsa stuf over the years from them, (riechmarks or whatever it was when they started was the currency) and always been spot on. its a bit pricier now with the exchange rates etc., but overall, ive had some great stuff I couldn't get anywhere else, delivered cheaply and on time. I think the courier may be at fault as opposed to SIP...(I hev no connection in henny vey to SIP as a BUSINESS! JAWHOL MIEN HERR!)

Sounds like you've been unlucky tbh - which is a shame as its your 1st time dealing with them & so will leave a sour taste - but I have to agreed with others... as far as Vespa stuff goes I don't think you can ignore them for the range & quality of parts they have available.

I use them all the time & the only issue I've ever had was with the recent product recall for the rear shocks - but that was resolved without any real hassle to be fair.

But I can't ever recall having had an issue with deliveries (or returns) from them & don't think I've ever had to wait any more than 3 - 4 days for my stuff - plus you can't argue with their 5 euro flat rate postage...... unless of course your parcel doesn't turn up!!

Sorry you've got a problem Rich'. I've used SIP regularly and never had a problem. Might they cancel your first order, UPS return it to them? In the meantime place another order for the same items? Just a thought, probably won't work but maybe worth a try? Good luck with it. W

Tried cancelling Warren and SIP said it's on its way so no chance. They tried to deliver it this aft' and I had gone out to pick son up from school. Card said it's gone to a shop in centre of Wakefield that I have never heard of and no idea where it is. They have not given me any option of re-delivery. I would have stayed in had I known it was in this country but yesterday it was in HERNE-BOERNIG. Worse courier service I have ever known!

Well I have now got the parcel after 8 days. Had to use my lunch break to drive 8 miles in bad weather to pick up from a little corner shop in the centre of Wakefield with no free parking.

Think yourself lucky Richard that they don't use Yodel.
