The casings do not have to have a 305cc barrel fitted, which is probably just as well. Although we'd all like to think we can handle 50hp, the reality is somewhat different. Even Stuart Day said it was a beast and was shaking when he got off the Vespa version after just a couple of hundred yards.

The casings, which are much heavier than standard, will take an adaptor plate in the mouth of the casing to take standard barrels.

It is an amazing product and it was certainly the talk of the rally.

Does it still use the rest of the standard drive chain/gearbox ensemble?

Speaking to Dean from rimini and he said it will come as a complete engine ready to bolt in.... 305 cylinder/BSG casing/crank with the massive webs/cyclone 5 supreme/8 or 10 plate clutch/exhaust/carb etc . Once they have finshed thrashing it over the winter in italy for 20K km to iron any niggles out , he hope it would ready by spring, this is for the lammie the vespa engine has abit more work to get just right before more testing as it was a more complicated set up apparently :ugeek:

This is the BSG casing; nothing to do with Misano.
