Welcome to the July edition of Scootering

Image

What an edition we have in store this month…and to top it all we are giving away a FREE DVD for every reader strapped to the front page of the edition…something to watch after you’ve read the magazine!

Our cover-image depicts the crazy carbon fibre Vespa with a Honda 125GP top end by FALC grafted on, and inside Richie Lunt makes a welcome return with the historical ‘Mods!’ scooter. You’ll also find a treasure trove of other lovely feature scooters….not least of all the stunning ‘Prinz Porno’ twin-exhaust custom Vespa.

Our roving rally reporters Stan, Stevie and Jordan have all been out on the road to Kelso, Hayling Island and Vespa World Days in France to bring you the best reports, while Stu Owen bring us a ‘Snapshot in Time’ from the Lambretta Club Great Britain.

More tech features, tuning ideas and maintenance features have been squeezed in….for beginners and seasoned professionals alike, and our ‘paint your scooter’ tutorial continues with masking and stencils.

The Scomadi TL200 ‘FP’ gets its ‘First Ride Review’ and there’s a tonne more stuff inside the pages for you to keep coming back to throughout the month.

Enjoy the issue,

Dan

It's far, far better than it used to be. I get mine electronically, do I get it quicker? If it's out I haven't got it yet.

Fell on my doorstep this morning - actually on the Saturday, this far north, even that's an improvement - and the content looks promising.

I've yet to understand the timing of the electronic editions, seems to be after subs but before newsstand. I've asked if it can be released at same time as paper subs and am awaiting feedback....

Enjoy the issue,

Dan
Hi Dan

Constructive feedback for the (planned?) on going article, which I enjoyed reading btw

Maybe a quick proof read via one of the current LCGB Committee that the 'factual' aspects of any feature on the LCGB is checked for accuracy, as opposed to simply publishing a 'hindsight' view of LCGB Committee members that run the club along time ago, in a very different period of the club's interesting history?

(i.e. current membership has been steady for several years at around the 5,000 mark, and 'Jetset' magazine is one word not two. However I don't want to be seen to offer negative feedback of a generally otherwise interesting read).

Happy to assist if asked

Cheers
