Lying on a claim may not invalidate claim

According to this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36845617 lying on a claim form may not invalidate your claim if it's not relevant. Whether this means that claiming your scoot is 150cc when it's actually 175cc is irrelevant when it's been stolen remains to be seen. Seems like common sense might have reared it's ugly head.

yes I can see the Insurance Companies agreeing with that! They will find ANY excuse not to pay out.
