I followed the link, got distracted by a few a videos, but I found nothing on Richard's record. Can you provide a better hyperlink to the results or just tell us what he did? I'm not big on riddles.

right you need to click on the facebook bollox,, but he did 115.8 mph one way and within the hour he did another run in the opposite direction into a brisk wind of 95.2 mph and the two speeds together and divide them by two gives you an average speed of 105.5 mph which beats the old record,, no doubt a more computer savvy type will provide better links in the near future

Thanks Terry,
It was a good day, being dry and sunny helped.
The main issue on the day was the varying wind conditions, it kept changing all the time, and got worse (as in slowing us all down) as the afternoon progressed.
I couldn't have done it without my helpers though, Pete Newbold and Paul Priestley, what with refuelling/starting/general fettling and fannying around.
Hope to see you sometime.
Richard

Thanks Ian,
As you know its all down to wind ...................
What's with you is .................against you!
If you see what I mean.

Richard
