I'd agree on the fact that it's an expensive hobby but if you can ride a scooter around a roundabout without falling off then you're good enough to race, maybe not good enough to win races but it's fantastic fun just getting round the track racing against yourself and any other back markers. I had a go for a season and a half but never managed to have a reliable engine so found it very frustrating [and expensive] to not finish 4 out of every 5 races but when I did get around the buzz was unbelievable and the front ending lifting going down the Craner Curves at Donington is something that will stay in my memory banks for a long time, even though I finished last in both races.tonydevon wrote:no way I could ever afford or be good enough to race,
