Race Classes:
CLASSIC STANDARDS - SOLO'S Group 3 - Classics up to 160cc (Standard class machines - Manual gear change, mainly Vespa and Lambrretta)
Group 4 - Classics up to 210cc(Standard class machines - Manual gear change, mainly Vespa and Lambretta)
SPECIALS - SOLO'S Group 5 - up to160cc (Special machines - Manual gear change, mainly Vespa and Lambrretta)
Group 6 - up to 260cc and Standards over 210cc (Classic machines - limits as shown)
Group 6A - 125cc up to 260cc and Standards over 210cc (Automatic )
SIDECARS- (Driver with Passenger - 3 wheel unit)
Group 7 - Specials up to 260cc (Top Sidecar class. Uses F2 chassis or make your own. Engine can be Automatic or Manual gear change type, providing it is from a scooter, eg Gilera Runner 180, Maicoletta 250, Yamaha Majesty 250, Piaggio X9 250 or Hexagon 250, Suzuki Burgman 250, Lambretta 200. (Others also apply)
Group 8 - Classics up to 238cc (Classic Sidecar class machine are Lambretta 200 converted up to 238cc. Uses Lambretta engine with spine frame chassis with limited tuning allowed.)
Group 9 - Formula 125's ( New Sidecar class. Uses 125cc maximum size engine from any Motorcycle or Scooter. Can be Manual geared or Automatic)

AUTOMATICS - SOLO'S Group 10 - up to 70cc (Piaggio Ice, Zip, Zip SP, Zip 2000, NRG, Storm, Typhoon, NTT, Quartz, Vespa ET2, Gilera Runner, DNA 50, SKP, Italjet Formula, Dragster, Velocifero, Benelli 491, K2, Derbi Predator, GP1 Peugeot, Speedfight, Buxy, Zenith, Speedake, Vivacity, Squab, Trekker, PGO Big Max, Comet, Star, Suzuki Katana, Street Magic, Zillion, AP, Honda X8R, SFX, Bali, Yamaha BWS, Neos, Why, Slider, Spy, Aerox, MBK Nitro, Booster, Ovetto, Target, Aprilia SR, Sonic, Area 51, Rally, Malaguti Crosser, F10, F12, F15, F18, Yesterday, Kymco Dink, DJy, DJx, Heroism, People, Sniper, K12) and more

Group 12 - up to 250cc(Scooters eligible include Aprilia Leonardo 250, Gilera Runner 180, DNA 180, Piaggio Hexagon 180, X9 250, Benelli Velvet 250, Malaguti Madison 250, Italjet Dragster 180, Honda Foresight 250, CN 250cc, ) and more
Group 13 - up to 500cc (Scooters eligible include Suzuki Burgman 400 or Yamaha TMax 500cc) and more
Group 14 - up to 650cc (Scooters eligible include Honda Silver Wing 600 or Suzuki 650cc) and more

In 2002 the lower limit of every class was removed, giving riders the opportunity to race a smaller machine in the larger classes. With that selection of classes any rider who wishes to race a scooter can do so.
