Why are the Dyno chart runs carried out in third gear?
Did you have to do that?

3rd generally shows the highest power output on a scooter and provides a long enough run to work the engine, small motorbikes 6 speed i run in 4th and its more of a case that your picking a gear as a regular testing regime to provide the best repeatability for yourself and also repeatability for comparison with other dyno,s ,for example you could do
all runs with 30 psi rear tyre pressure
all runs with no rear straps and sat on the bike
all runs in 3rd gear
all runs between 4000 to 9,000rpm
