PX200 Standard Piaggio barrel - 27.75 bhp

200 barrel, not the BGM one. Standard barrel, piston and head; jacked up a bit, skimmed and ported, no welding.
JL pipe, flatslide carb, variable ignition.
Just done for a bit of fun!

If I'm reading that right then it must be nigh on unrideable. It has less power than a standard factory P2 until it reaches more than 6000rpm.

Have I read that right Tony? Standard thick-cast rings revving to nearly 9000 rpm? Maybe I've misunderstood?

Its likely the landscape of the graph, factory would peak circa 9 at around 6k from experience of friends who have dynoed.

:) No it is not a HB.

It does rev on a bit more as well Dan, I didn't put it up but we tried a race pipe also, one which I thought would suit best but it is for a different engine and it lost some power:

F##k me .....must be a reeet monster to ride....
Ive got a reed 225 malossi tuned blah blah and that's only knocking out 26.5 hp....
love to see/ride it ....is it rideable ???
