Hi to anyone that reads these. Quick introduction from myself a former 80s scooterist that just returning to the "scene?" from a bit of a lay-off (been in a coma...honest) and in the final stages of a first build on a Jet 200 lookalike (why you ask?) on and Eibar Li150 Special frame. Or final-ish. more like!
Opening comments are what a wonderful pallet of options there are available today for Lambretta builds, tuning etc. and also what a load of absolute carp is available too (some of which ive bought!) Built scoots up in a day back in the goode olde dayse but spent most of my time modifying stuff to fit this time around. Not always that successfully either.
Initial advice to anyone else is... buy one that's done or at least a complete scooter. Building starting with just a frame and casing isn't tooo economical!
