To rub down or not????

Just sprayed a couple of bits with a rattle can and to be honest I'm quite pleased with the result. It's quite a shiny finish but the only problem is there are a few "blemishes" possibly where a bit of dust has been sprayed over etc. My dilemma is do I leave it and not stand the chance of ballsing it all up or is there a way of gently removing them and flattening it then getting the finish back to a nice shine? Can I rub them down with some very fine wet wet and dry and then polish with compound then t cut then polish and get a decent result? Any advice would be very helpful :)

as long as youve got a reasonable depth of paint to work with, flat out any dust or dirt "nibs". use 2000 grit if youve got it, but not coarser than 1200. then polish with a medium/ coarse compound, such as farecla g3, followed by a fine, like g10. t cut is old hat now, id only use it if i had it already.
